Metropolitan Fire Service crews extinguish house fire in St Agnes

THE Metropolitan Fire Service has extinguished a blaze at a house in Adelaide’s northeast.

An MFS spokeswoman said five MFS appliances, one Country Fire Service appliance and 19 fire fighters extinguished the fire at a house on North East Rd, St Agnes.

She said the first emergency calls were received about 8.45pm.

It took the crews about 20 minutes to put out the fire but the house was completely destroyed.

Fire cause investigators will head to the scene.
